Fine Acts invited me to join the Climate Defenders Sprint, a collaborative initiative bringing together 20 international artists to create artworks responding to climate injustice.

My contribution focused on climate defenders and the idea of extinction. Rather than approaching the subject only through fear, I wanted to explore how humor, irony and accessible visual storytelling could make such a heavy theme feel more human, relatable and emotionally engaging.

The series combines bright colors, playful imagery and references to the Bee Gees song “Staying Alive” to create a tension between catastrophe and resilience. The goal was not to minimize the urgency of the climate crisis, but to invite people to engage with it through curiosity, empathy and a sense that hope is still possible.
